Dall'editoriale di Beniamino Vizzini, pubblicato su TRACCE CAHIERS D'ART n.32 Inverno 2019-2020 : "L’immagine artistica nell’opera pittorica, plastico-scultorea o anche solo fotografica, trattiene in sé l’apparire di ciò che non appare ossia, rappresenta una realtà che non si mostra nella sua immediatezza pur mostrando attraverso la mediazione dei mezzi tecnici l’urto o l’impatto oggettivo, l'emozione, che essa provoca nella soggettività di chi l’ha prodotta e di chi ha il piacere di goderne la presenza. L’immagine artistica, insomma, non simula la “realtà” ma ce la rappresenta, anzi, ri-presenta sotto un’altra luce, sotto un’altra forma, fino al punto di farla apparire come un’altra realtà o, come Cesare Brandi l’avrebbe chiamata, una realtà pura ovvero autonoma, completa, concreta, racchiusa in se stessa e bastante a se stessa".

From the editorial written by Beniamino Vizzini and published on TRACCE CAHIERS D'ART n.32 Winter 2019-2020 : "The artistic image in the pictorial, plastic-sculptural or even photographic work, holds in itself the appearance of what does not appear, that is, it represents a reality that does not show itself in its immediacy while showing through the mediation of technical means the shock or the objective impact, the emotion it causes in the subjectivity of the person who produced it and who has the pleasure of enjoying its presence. The artistic image, in short, does not simulate "reality" but represents it, indeed, it re-presents in another light, in another form, to the point of making it appear as another reality or, like Cesare Brandi would have called it, a pure reality, complete, concrete, enclosed in itself and sufficient to itself".
